The Scriptures: We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, infallible, and that its authority is ultimate, final and eternal. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction and reproof. It is God's revelation to man.
Creation: We believe God is the Author and Finisher, Beginning and End, Creator of everything. In Him all things exist.
The Godhead: Our God is One; eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, co-equal in power and glory. We believe God is a Spirit, infinite, eternal, and unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness and truth, and in Whom all things have their source, support, and end.
Jesus Christ Our Lord: We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God; we believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His redeeming death as our substitute, in His bodily resurrection, and in His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person and proceeds forth from both the Father and the Son and He is eternal. The Holy Spirit is personal, separate and distinct from the Father and the Son. He is God on the earth today, the third person of the Holy Trinity.
Creation of Man and His Fall: We believe God created man in His own image, but through Adam's transgression and fall, sin came into the world. Man sinned and thereby incurred the penalty of death, both physical and spiritual; that all human beings inherit a sinful nature, which results in actual transgression.
Eternal Life and the New Birth: We believe the Bible teaches that salvation is by grace, a free gift of God, received by faith in the finished work of the Blood of Jesus Christ at Calvary. Those who receive Jesus by faith have their sins forgiven and become children of God, a new creation in Christ Jesus.
Salvation: Salvation is a free gift from God. No one can add anything to the completed work of Jesus in order to receive it. Salvation is received by faith and faith alone. Man is justified by faith in the redeeming Blood of Jesus Christ, resulting in the new birth.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit: We believe in the baptism in the Holy Spirit, empowering and equipping believers for service, with the accompanying supernatural gifts of the Holy Spirit. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is witnessed by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.
Water Baptism: We believe that baptism in water is by immersion. It is a direct commandment of our Lord and is for believers only. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's identification with Jesus the Christ in His death, burial and resurrection, and is a public confession of the new believer's faith in Jesus Christ.
Sanctification: We believe the Bible teaches that without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite work of grace, translating believers out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light at the time of the new birth. Believers are then obligated out of gratitude and reverence for the finished work of Calvary to live their lives separated unto God and in obedience to his word.
Divine Healing: We believe divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel. Healing is for physical and emotional ills of the human body and is wrought by the power of God through faith in His Word. It is provided in the redemption of Jesus, and is the privilege of every member of the Body of Christ today.
Heaven, Hell and Eternal Retribution: The one who physically dies in his sins without Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, and therefore has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. Hell, the Lake of Fire, is literal. The terms “eternal” and “everlasting” used in describing the duration of the punishment of the damned in the Lake of Fire carry the same thought and meaning of endless existence as used in denoting the duration of joy and ecstasy of saints in the presence of God in Heaven.
Resurrection of the Just and the Return of Our Lord: We believe in the Rapture of the Church, which the Bible calls the blessed hope of the believer. It involves the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ Jesus and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord. His coming is imminent. When He comes for the Church, "The dead shall rise first; then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air".
Satan: We believe that the devil exists. He was defeated at Calvary by the sacrificial death of Jesus. Today he roams the earth seeking who he may devour. But the church has been given authority in the Name of Jesus to enforce his defeat and set the captives free.
The Church: We believe the one true Church is made up of all believers, both in heaven and in earth, who have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ and regenerated by the Holy Spirit. Personal confession of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior results in the new birth and is essential to local church membership and qualifies one as a member in the true Body of Christ.
The Calling of the Church: The number one calling of the Church is to be a corporate body in which we may fellowship and worship God in spirit and truth. The local church is to build a body of saints in the image of His Son, living a life of purity and enforcing Satan’s defeat. The church is responsible to fulfill the Great Commission, (Matthew 28:17-20 and Mark 16:15-20), evangelizing the entire world.
Marriage: We believe marriages shall only be performed between one man and one woman who are each born again and proclaim that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. We believe weddings are Christian worship services, and we restrict the use of any of our facilities as only for the church's religious services and purposes.
